Panattoni constructed a warehouse for Raben logistics at Panattoni D5 Hořovice Park

The industrial developer Panattoni Europe constructed an A-class warehouse building for Raben Logistics in Žebrák in Central Bohemian region. Raben plans to store popular everyday goods such as sweets, alcohol and dog food. The total area of the new premises is 24 000 sqm under one roof. Representatives of both companies were present during the official opening of this new logisitcs warehouse during which Raben showed its clients where their goods will be stored in upcoming years.

„The branch in Hořovice is very important for us because it provides also local distribution of bewerage goods in a special temperate regime to different regions and has a great transport connections to Germany. We are very pleased to move only to the neighborhing suburb closer to the D5 Motorway and exit 34. Thanks to expanding the storage space we will be able to increase our logistics capacities,“ says Jakub Trnka, CEO of Raben for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

„Storing food and delivering to the end users in high quality is a big challenge and constructing logistics halls for these needs is something special. A new Raben hall includes a cold storage for storing bewerages and delicate sweets like chocolate. Raben Logistics has operated on the Czech market since 2008. It offers comprehensive logistics services tailored to both domestic and international road transport. The key segment of the group is food services, which represent about 30 % of its activities. Raben Fresh Logistics is specialized for fresh products logistics requiring transportation or storage in the range of 2 to 6 ° C. The company serves clients like Nestlé, Saeco, Heinz, GlaxoSmithKline, Osram, Haribo.

Panattoni D5 Hořovice Park was opened last year on Exit 34 of the D5 Motorway. It has offered one of the last free space with a direct connection to the traffic, which is considered as the most attractive in Central and Eastern Europe by our clients. The first was leased to Saint Gobain Sekurit consisting in total of 10 000 sqm.

Panattoni Europe was named the largest industrial developer in Europe according to the latest Top Property Developers ranking by PropertyEU Magazine. The firm topped the podium in terms of the quantity of space delivered to the market in 2014-2016. The staggering 2.71 million sqm made Panattoni Europe number 1 developer of industrial real estate in Europe.
