Panattoni and FIEGE are expanding their partnership in western Poland. The new agreements include lease extensions and expansions at three sites: Panattoni Park Goleniów I, Panattoni Park Zielona Góra I and Panattoni Park Gorzów I. The total additional space leased by FIEGE amounts to nearly 21,000 sqm.

The first contract involves FIEGE leasing an additional 10,000 sqm of logistics space at Panattoni Park Goleniów I. Following this expansion, the tenant now occupies a total of approximately 26,000 sqm at the site. The new space is intended for an existing partner, already operating at the facility, which specialises in e-commerce. The decision to continue operations was driven primarily by the functionality of the facility and the ability to flexibly adapt the space to the tenant’s changing operational needs and development plans. The high technical standard of the park was also a key factor, as it enables the efficient execution of logistics processes without the need to relocate operations.

“The decision to extend the lease and expand at Panattoni Park Goleniów I was a natural step for us – we have been operating a warehousing business in the region for over a decade and value this location for its stability and excellent fit with our operational needs. The opportunity for further expansion within the same building, in the immediate vicinity of other FIEGE facilities, allows us to maintain process consistency and manage the supply chain effectively,” says Tomasz Przybył, Sales and Marketing Director at FIEGE. “We were guided by similar criteria when deciding to expand in Zielona Góra and Gorzów Wielkopolski. The proximity to the German border, well-developed infrastructure and access to a skilled workforce mean that Western Poland offers excellent conditions for the further development of our company.”

FIEGE is expanding its operations at Panattoni Park Zielona Góra I, increasing its occupied space by nearly 6,700 sqm – to a total of over 11,000 sqm. This expansion is linked to the start of a partnership with a company in the fashion industry. The logistics operator will use the new space to handle returns. The expansion of the logistics facilities will enable the efficient management of the growing volume of returns, which constitute one of the key elements of logistics in this sector. FIEGE has extensive experience in handling this type of operation, and the new space will enable further development of these services and the maintenance of high-quality service. Along with the expansion of operations, an increase in staffing is also planned.

The third agreement concerns expansion at Panattoni Park Gorzów I. The additional space amounts to over 4,000 sqm, meaning that FIEGE will occupy a total of over 27,000 sqm at the facility. The space is intended to serve a client from the non-food discount sector. The choice of location was primarily determined by its proximity to the western border and other discount-related distribution centres, as well as the availability of space for future expansion. The selection of additional space also stems from the growing volume of FIEGE’s logistics operations and the dynamic development of the tenant’s cooperation with the client.

“FIEGE is our long-standing partner, with whom we are expanding our collaboration across numerous locations in Poland. The agreements we have signed underscore just how important it is for logistics operators to be able to scale their space flexibly within existing parks. Our facilities offer the infrastructure and technical specifications required to efficiently manage complex processes, whilst also providing space for further expansion as tenants’ businesses grow,” says Dorota Jagodzińska-Sasson, Managing Director at Panattoni.

Cooperation between Panattoni and FIEGE. The expansions at Panattoni’s parks in Western Poland form part of a broader collaboration between the two companies. In February this year, Panattoni signed a lease agreement with FIEGE for over 42,000 sqm of space in the under-construction Panattoni Park Katowice Airport – one of the largest lease transactions in the developer’s portfolio this year.

FIEGE is one of the largest logistics operators in Europe. The company operates in 15 countries and has a network of over 130 locations, serving clients from sectors including FMCG, fashion, industry, retail, healthcare and e-commerce.
